Christopher Calcutt is a Chartered Surveyor and has been working as a residential, agricultural and development estate agent in mid and East Kent since 1974. He started in London with a national firm in 1973 and then moved to their new Canterbury office the next year, becoming a partner in due course. In 1993, together with Nigel Maclean, he set up Calcutt Maclean in Wye, the firm that is now FoxWood Maclean following the merger with Fox & Manwaring. Other interests include sitting on the governing body of Canterbury Christ Church University.
Christopher is currently building an eco-friendly house, on his small farm near Wye, which is proving to be "an interesting learning curve".
